Our story
Playing together since 2005, our 2007 team looks to be our most promising! Welcome back to Brian, Hutch, Sirinyay, Brighton, Fred, Adam, Alli, Kat, Audrey and Liz.
We've played together under several monikers, including the AIRheads, the Ladybugs, and our favorite, Cheney's Duck Hunt.
There was a Cheney's Duck Hunt: The New Class, starring Hutch and Brighton, but that almost shouldn't count.
Shoutout to our new teammates Steven, Jeff, Jeremy, Ari, Dylan, Zach, Becki, Alisha, Arielle, Amanda, Jen, Jeanne, Rafaela, Amy, and Joanna.
Our alums: Allie, Damian, Kyle, Heather, Suja, Andrea, the Hebrew Hammer, Sean, Rebecca.
Returning MVPs
June 6-
1) Hutch, for scaring the bejesus out of several women on Team Lickballers by turning kickball into friggin dodgeball. Seriously, Hutch, let it go.
2) Brighton and Liz for scoring 1 and 2 runs respectively. Nice work!
3) Kat M., for quality heckling
4) Brian, for quality pitching
Rookie MVP
This week's Rookie MVP distinction goes out to several people:
1) Jeff, who was willing to try swapping t-shirts with Cyclone Dennis, who got shafted with the last t-shirt (a size small)
2) Everybody who contributed to our 16-4 win
3) Becki for her excellent play at shortstop catching a line drive and taking the legs out of every runner who tried to get to second base.
4) Steve for a great double play in RF.
